CALIFORNIA DREAMIN'   California, the Golden State, is my home. From the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Sierra Nevada mountains to the east, from the Redwood forests to the north and the Mojave desert to the south, California is one of the most beautiful places on earth.  Carmen Ruby Alvarez grew up in wine country north of Santa Barbara, where she began creating stories, characters, books, and even housing blueprints at an early age. This passion led to careers in real estate, acting, broadcasting, and owning a small production company. Carmen had featured roles in Las Vegas CSI, Las Vegas NBC, HBO Entourage, short films and a Michael Bay movie earning her a SAG card which  fed her drive and creativity to the next level of the arts. Making the decision from being a top Mortgage Account Executive ranked #2 in Southern California from 2001-2002 under management of HSBC Financial and to cross over to Real Estate  was an easy choice including one of the most educational, thrilling and most rewarding times in Carmen's  life.  She made the exciting transition into high-end luxury real estate in 2005 working with Coldwell Banker Previews in Beverly Hills servicing the west side in Los Angeles working with her mentor that includes over 25 years of experience selling over 2.5 billion dollars in Real Estate.  Carmen's passions  are architecture, volunteering with youth services & troubled teens, music, Pilates, and extensively traveling around the world to her favorite places which are: The Almafi Coast, Rome, Sardinia, Florence, Tuscany, Venus, Greece, France, Spain, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and many more.   Carmen Ruby Alvarez recently relocated back to CA from New York and is happier than ever to be back into real estate and believes the next few years are going to be the best yet for new opportunities and is hoping to launch a  real estate podcast  discussing topics  about the current  local market, nationally  and internationally. Carmen's dream is to work in the international real estate market, build orphanages and build/own resorts around the world.         Carmen Ruby Alvarez has also gone by Carmen Ruby and Carmen Ponce.
